Shanghai Shenhua, one of the most successful clubs in Chinese football history, has had several notable players throughout its storied history. Among them is Moreno, who spent six seasons with the club before retiring at the end of the 2019 season.

Born in Argentina, Moreno moved to China in search of better opportunities and began his career with Shanghai Shenhua in 2014.
